The tension in the air is tense. Rumors of war is permeating everywhere. Everybody is busily sharpening their own kinves and prepare both mentally and physically for the tough battle ahead. Yeah, the war refered in the above metaphor is no other than the prelim and A level.
During this period of "sharpening of weapons", many are worn out from stress inevitablely. But this is the most cruical phrase which determines the outcome of the diabloical war. Either you try really hard to equip yourself with the best weapon or you will be terminated in clashing steel and screaming arrows. Beware and be prepare people, we are going for war! WAR!
My life during this important period is same as anyone else who is preparing for this incoming prelim and A level. Mug. Du. This is what surrounds me basically daily. Time files by like a flash, I know that it will be A level when I open my eyes. Scare? Everyone is afriad of the unexplored, even the bravest warrior in the world, I am not spared from this Archies' Heel of human nature. Hopefully all of us can fight a victorious battle and come back alive.

The National Day Celebration ended up in a mess and this event had unveiled the morale degradation of the younger generation. In my opinion, this event can be prevented. Although Mr. Lee was at fault when he scolded one of my classmates to "shut up", he should not have lost his temper and talked back to him in front of the whole class. No matter what Mr. Lee has done or say wrongly, the young should never rebut - this is the basic and simplest form of respect that can be given to an elder. I was total upset about this "predicament" today. It really hurt me when I saw some of my classmates even supporting that classmate's tempest by jeering at Mr. Lee. I was really heartbroken and I believed Mr. Lee shared the same sentitment as me at that moment. What have happened to the decades of moral education and the tradition of "jin lau zhun xian"?
From my point of view, this might due to the upbringing of the children nowsday - They are over-protected by their parents. They cannot even withstand a minimum amount of humilation because they are seldom or never been scolded or ordered in their cosy nice utopia (home, I meant). Hence, when they are scolded, even in minimum amount, they must "release" their "plight" by talking back or even inflicting injury at the one who have caused him humilation. This is a action of people who are lack of EQ*: He rather sacrifice the "mood" of the people around him for his personal content. If the event mentioned in paragraph has happened in the 1980s, the teacher would simply give the student a tight slap and the student's parent will have come the next day. The students nowsday is simply so "xin fu" because even the teachers are feared of them and this causes they to TAKE EVERYTHING FOR GRANT!!!
I simply cannot forget the lost look of Mr. Lee when my classmate shouted at him. I know he was simply disappointed. He was not disappointed with my classmate, instead he was disappointed with himself for not imparting the correct morale values to the students: For what he know that it is the duty of a teacher to teach and mould students - he had failed terribly at that instance. Real terribly.
I hope that all of us will reflect upon this event and learn to be more selfless*. We will never be happy at the expense of happiness of others.
As a result of this unfortunate revent, our class spirit was totally destroyed and we were simply restless. Out of consolation, the 11/04 guys and 09/04 went to AMK lan for a bloodshed. Haha, don't worry la.. it was a just a game of counterstrike. The 11/04 guys played wonderfully, tough our level of skills are different, we covered up for each other. Thus, we tasted victory at most of the games! We shouted and cheered, but this time was out of enjoyment and brotherhood and nothing else! This was really so rewarding for me! I simply love that few hours of short but happy moment of my life. Yeah, the 11/04 guys rocks!
