As my OC said, "We are going for a battle.."
This words mark the start of the preparation for the most feared inspection of maintenance units - LRI. And this also bring all of us into hell: Over time without off, endless servicing, road test and shifting of armoured vehicles.. This is a period when all of us will get more oil, grease and exhaust from armoured vehicles. At the end of the day, each and everyone will have a "nice" layer of dust and dirt on our skin - a rub of a tissue paper on any part of the skin reveals it all. While our coverall will be pelted with holes resulted from tearing it accidently or corrosion by acid water.
To aggravate the situation, my company has a implement stricter rules to improve our discpline. Extra duties will be given by 2IC and CSM without mercy when any of us is late, bad turn out or even fail to greet officer. Bringing in of retricted items, AWOL or being late for more than 3 times will be charged. All of this rules and regulations will make our lives only for the worse. *Haiz..

Getting injured and recover.. An inevitable process in NS..
I just took my IPPT today and I am on half day off. Finally, I managed to pass my SBJ (my ke xin) and hence, I passed the whole test. However, my ankle injuries had worsen after the test and I was limping my way home. It seems that a lot of people got leg and hand injuries when serving NS. Up to date, I have already subtained a left hand near-dislocation and over straining of ligaments in my leg due to army. Sometimes, I really feel lousy not to perform up to the physical standard I want (and trained for, of course). May be I should really rest up a bit in order for the injuries that "pelted" all over my body to recover.
I am really quite lazy to blog because there is really nothing much for me to blog. I think most of the people serving NS now share similar view with me. Haha, I am just waiting for my ORD.. Seeing my senior ORD is quite a sad thing when I think of I still have one year one month to go.. where is my pink ic?
