The Hols of The Lunar CNY!
I really enjoy the holidays of this New Year. It is so long since I have a good break (from army). I had went out with my family members and different groups of friends during this period. I really had lots of fun and also good solid rest. However, good times fly by quickly and in a flash, I am now blogging the fun moments of the holiday down now. Hm..
This picture was taken on one of the Saturdays before the New Year. We were having a class gathering at Fish and Cold of the Park Way mall. Haha, we had to wait for at least an hour before we were seated but we took this chance to interact. (tok cok la..) Hm.. I think we become even more united when we graduated from AJC? Anyway, it was really a good "catch up" session la..
Let's talk about new year. Actually, I finished all my "bai nan" during the first day of the Lunar Chinese New Year. It is good to see that my relatives are all in good health. Below is the pictures showing most of my Any Baos. Although they did not "fetch" me a lot of extra dollars, I still give my thumb up. I received a very cut Ang Bao, which I think all the maple fans will love. Read the words on the Ang Bao, it is very cute right? Haha..
My family and I went to The Cathey to watch "Just Follow Law". It is quite an interesting movie and some points of the movie are quite true.. Hm.. Anyway, this was how the cinema looked like minutes before we were allowed to go in. Wah.. just look at the number of people..
That is all of my great New Year Holiday. Going back to camp tmr.. Days start to pass slowly le.. So take care everyone and HAPPY PIG YEAR!

My Model Tank - SM1 (AMX-13)
This is the first tank model that I have constructed. Haha, nice right? It really resembles the SM1 tanks, which I see in my camp everyday. It got all the road wheels, support rollers etc.. Fixing all the plastic parts together was tough because most of the parts are very small. Hence, I must be extra careful not to lose or damage any parts. Haha, my hands were trembling when I fixed the small parts into the model! The painting and colouring phrase was also very tedious. I had to spray at a certain distance and angle so that the tank were evenly painted. I had a hard time using a brush to colour some specific parts with red.. Thanks goodness, it was done and I am quite happy with the result..
The Behind - I think this is the most "sexiest" part of the tank!
The Front - The turret can fire 75 mm shells, which can pierce through any armour effortlessly.
Unfortunely, SM1 tanks are going to be replace by Leopard 2 soon!
Hm.. so to my fellow NS friends who are bored, I advice you to find a new interest such as making model kit and you will find yourself recharged and motivated!
