One more "A" vehicle license..
After a week of intensive theory lessons and outfield driving, I obtain my SM1 tank driving license. I find this course relatively easy because I had been through the same thing last time with BX. I still remembered a conversation with my tester (vehicle commander) during my outfield obstacle driving test.

tester: ya lor.. ORD this august.
me: wah so good leh.. I ORD this dec lor..
tester: haha.. ok la.. also ORD soon le ma..
me: See i so ke lian, going to ORD still come for driving course..
tester: haha..
Now I hold BX and SM1 driving licenses, which mean I have to drive more armoured vehicles.. Haiz.. more sai kai sia.. 6 months to ORD! Jia you NSF!

TJCO Concert
I went to watch TJCO Concert yesterday with my army friend to see my junior tank operator friend perform. He was a percussionist. Haha, he always say he is "shag" when I see him in camp. But he was totally different during his performance on stage. He was impressive, stunning and cool. His moves when playing the "gu" (drum) were swift and powerful. And his expression was stern and focus. My friend and I were impressed. During the interval, my friend told him something which I felt was very meaningful:
"You belong to the stage.."
At the end of the concert I messaged him to tell him to continue his interest in Chinese Orchestra when he was serving the nation. I think this is the only he will not lose his "true self" in this "timeless zone".

I offer my deepest condolences to the family of the late 3rd SGT Isz Sazli bin Sapari.
I knew him as a very enthusiastic and affable student leader in Anderson Junior College. He was in class 0304 while I was in class 1104. I remembered him leading cheers and dances, bringing up the spirit of school events like College Day etc. As a fellow NSF, I feel sorry for the family's loss of a beloved son.

My Birthday!
I had a birthday cum drivers gathering @ a Japaneses restaurant in Tampines. The atmosphere was good and the food was delicious - We had a great time together! I appreciated my two driver friends rushing down from camp (Sedong Gedong Camp) to the restaurant even though they had overtime till 8 pm. I was quite touched.
I met my other drivers friends the next day and they gave me an adidas bag. Later, I met up with my BMTC buddies and they gave me a treat and a shirt as my birthday present. I am really blissed.
Although I admit that I do not really like NS, I had made really good friends during this period. I am truly blessed. We share our joy, happiness and have good time together. Even though my NS did not go the way I wished for, I am contented that I am surrounded by good bros. Take care everyone!

Theory of Normalism
Who do you think is a normal people? What type of people is considered as normal? These questions may be puzzling to many people and it may do not even have an absolute answer. But let's look as two theories proposed by my good friend and me.
I propose the first theory. In my opinion, whether a person is normal or not, is determined by his behavior relative to his current status. In other words, a person in a particular condition should perform task in the way that most people at his particular condition perform. Let's take a good student from a good school as an example. In his status as "good student" and "in a good school", he should be hardworking and optimistic. This is the demeanor of most of the good students in a good school. If a good student is not hardworking, people will consider him as abnormal. Also, I believe that no one in the world is perfectly normal and everyone deviates from the norm to a certain extent. A person who deviates from the norm too much will be consider not normal.
The second theory purposed by my friend is a bit different. He thinks that the culture of the environment (at that instance) determines whether a person is normal or not. Since the culture of the environment is constantly changing, one's perspective about normal changes perpetually. For instance, people singing out loud in public places in rural area are normal because this is part of their culture. However, if someone sings loudly at urban area, other people will think he is abnormal because this is not part of the culture of a city.
Hm.. Both of the theories are quite close but they are different. Which one do you believe in to a greater extent? Or you have come out with your own theory too?
